I have had a sore throat for about 16 days. First I noticed my throat was sore. Then the back of my tongue. I didn't have fever or anything else. Then I started to get a stuffy nose and a dry cough. I went to the dr and got checked for strep and that came back negative. It has been 4 days since then and I still have a sore throat and the right side of my neck is sore even to the touch. My tonsils look a bit swollen amd.the whole back of my throat is still red and swollen. Does anyone have any ideas of what it might be. It is driving me crazy.
