Hello! Cannabis should be avoided during the pregnancy. There are not much studies about it but there's some evidence that cannabis more specific THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is a psychoactive substance that can passes the placenta and reach the foetus, therefore any amount of cannabis arrives to the foetus increasing the risk of complications some of them are: mild cognitiven development impairment, lower weight at birth, astma , wheezing, and others. Regarding the second question about the child protection agency I don't know if they will be involved but the most important is that fromthe moment you know you are pregnant you take care of you and yous future baby, so I don't see any reason for you to worry now. Take care of you and your pregnancy and I wish you al the best
