First of all, relax! I just went through this as well.. I had one a month ago. I went back terrified when I started bleeding a lot a few days afterward. It is normal to bleed for two weeks or a little more, but if the blood clots are bigger than golf balls, that is cause for concern. If they are, call the hotline number in the paperwork the doctors gave to you. If the bleeding is heavy enough to soak a thick pad in an hour for more than a few hours, you need to call them also. Did you schedule a two week follow up appointment? Those are really important to go to because they make sure everything is healing right.
