I was an American citizen living in Mexico , married had 3 boys ,battered and abused , in front of them , my biggest concern is that they would not be like their father who was like his father..It took me 15 years to leave this man we as a  family had  counseling before I left. 23 years has gone by it still hurts and my relationship with them is not very good they hate me and want revenge , One son more conniving than the other has sucked my income dry . they always thought I had money. only had what I earned, Now I do not know what to do its a mess .
