Ok, here is my story..had one boy in 1994. Had a terrible pgcy. Decided to have my tubes tied at 24 years of age. In 2001, I spent thousands of dollars to have a reversal. After 3 surgeries, clomid, and many, many tests...i never became pregnant. Last October, I had another laps and my dr said I was totally blocked in one tube and 1/2 in the other. I was going to schedule my surgery to have a hysterectomy. In Feb, I started Lupron. Oh the side effects. I was NUTS! I only took 2 months. Put me in a "state!" I also had all of the menopause symptoms. It is now June and I hadn't had a period, but I was told that was due ot the Lupron since i "couldn't" get pregnant.
Two weeks ago, I passed out. Yesterday, I passed out again. I decided to go and get a PG test. OF course, the test was invalid..it didn't even work. Today, I decided to waste my money again...and there was a + sign. I am 38 years old and have been told for almost 9 years that I would NEVER get PG again. I called the dr and he said, "Come right in." I did and found out my count was 531.4. This means (according to the internet!) that I am about 4-5 weeks. I have to call at 8:00 to get into the dr for a physical. I am HIGH risk b/c I am a diabetic and have high BP. On top of htat, I just got my dream job AND my son is not happy at all! it is now 4 in the morning and i just can't sleep.
All I am telling you is that the impossible can happen. I am thrilled, but nervous as heck too. Pray for me because I really need it.

I am really glad to hear that you are pregnant, but I do understand that you will be nervous as well. I hope that you take it easy as being pregnant while you are diabetic and having high blood pressure is an issue so do take extra special care of yourself. Please let us know here how your pregnancy goes. I'm curious to hear how you are doing!
