Hi, I am 12 years old and weigh 185 lbs. I really want to lose weight. I have big hips, thighs and i hate it. My clothes are big so I can fit them. I wear a hoody all day so nobody can see my body. When I wear shorts, my thighs look huge! And I want to do a foot of things, but when I do... my whole face turns red. I want to do lots of things but I can't because of my weight. What do u think I should do?

Hi Hannah! It is good that you are looking for help in such a young age! This means that if you  change some things in your lifestyle now you will avoid having a lot of problems in the future. Dealing with overweight is not a simple thing. And the bigger chances of succes is when you do this with professional help and help from your family. The 2 most important things are: eat healthy and sport. You will need help from a nutricionist and choose a sport that you like. Besides this, I don't know if it is your case, but a lot of children already lose lots of weight by simply avoiding every drink that is not water. Yes, sweet drinks are one of the major causes of overweight in children. I hope i could help you a little bit here!
