So, I just had this procedure done in 4/14/23 - 6 days ago. I just messaged my doctor today asking if this procedure has a side effect of developing yeast infection as I am starting to develop one. The response: it's not a typical, however not impossible if your are susceptible from the cleaning solution they use. I am just hoping from reading through these comments this will not be an ongoing issue with yeast infections.

Hi, guest.
While yeast infections are not a typical side effect of Nova-Endometrial Ablation, it is possible for some people to develop them after the procedure. The cleaning solution used during the procedure could potentially disrupt the natural balance of bacteria and yeast in the vaginal area, leading to an overgrowth of yeast.
If you are experiencing symptoms of a yeast infection, such as itching, burning, and discharge, it is important to follow up with your doctor. They may recommend over-the-counter treatments or prescribe medication to help clear up the infection.
It is also possible that this is a one-time occurrence and not an ongoing issue. However, if you find that you are experiencing frequent yeast infections after the procedure, it may be worth discussing with your doctor to explore possible causes and solutions.
Have you been prone to yeasr infections in the past?
