I have this exactly in my right shoulderblade down to my hand with numbness and tingling for three years now (It all started in the hand weirdly). I've done physical therapy a bunch, all those tests, and am currently working again to try to figure it out. I'm thinking it's Thoracic Outlet syndrome right now and I'm going to suggest that to my doctor. I'll let you know if anything comes of it. I hope we can figure this out and get back to a painless life!

Hi. I've been up all night, like most nights over the past two weeks with pains under my right shoulder too unbearable to even describe. My dr diagnosed me as having tendonitis and prescribe an anti-inflamation med called MELOXICAM. its been two days and I could swear its gotten worse. My husband and daughter say its trapped gas which I have also read about. Those who've posted similar complaints offered different remedies, but I was particularly interested in this one. Because the gas is trapped in an area near nerve endings, he decided to raise both shoulders towards his ears, in a shrugging fashion, and hold as long as you can take it. He reported hearing a popping sound, which apparently released the trapped gas. Two hours later the pain was gone. . I tried the shoulder method a few minutes ago and have felt some relief, but am a sceptic so am waiting to see what happens. Post back with your result.

Hi all, I've had a similar gas bubble pain in my left shoulder for about a year now that comes and goes depending on what I'm doing, how I'm feeling, posture, etc. The gas bubble pressure is sometimes so strong that my fingers get numb. What I usually do to remove the pain (at least temporarily) is stand up and swing my arms straight back so that my hands clap. When I do that, the gas bubble (seemingly) pops and provides immense relief. I'm not sure if this is a good thing to do long term, but it helps get me through tough times when I just can't take the pain.
