One point is that blue balls pain are merely cremaster strain and has nothing to do with any part of the testicles. This confusion is rampant. If it is uncomfortable for the balls to pop up by the penis, opening up the inguinal "canal" by palpating the nads up toward the abdominal muscle will allow the junk to wad up in a neutral space where the muscle is "home". Many I know who have had fully retractile nads have always had them and never had blue balls. Most have palpated the inguinal open and, after a little burn, have been really happy with their situation. Absolutely no one I know have not had their nads pop inside and most have not realized that it is where they came down from and it is not an "unnatural" thing. And absolutely zero torsion events have occurred with this lot however many cremaster elevator rides, snuggles and massages have been enjoyed. The urologists of the world must be more ignorant than I could ever guess to miss this stuff.

The scrotum is covered with the dartos muscle which is smooth an shiny when pulled out fully and totally relaxed. Its job is to contract into wrinkles to move the testicles closer to the body. When the wrinkles have tightened fully, then the wrinkled area double-tightens more into a wad like a dried apricot. Quite independently, the cremaster muscle which surrounds the testicle and cord is attached up under the transverse abdominal muscle of which it is a part. If your inguinal canal, which is a space between the thigh and groin abdominal muscle sheaths is not stuck together, the cremaster can pull the testicle and cord right up the thigh groove. Snuggly. This allows the cremaster to wad up at home so it doesn't ache when you are aroused for a long time (blue balls). Some think this free passage is a defect, but all the guys I have known about since the second grade have free inguinal passage and enjoy the elevator rides. If you release oxytocin by exercising the nipples, it will snug up this muscle group as will trying to pull the abdominal muscles in the groin up towards the belly button, and even more towards the kidneys. Practice, practice practice!!
