Vitamin H, also called biotin, is part of the B complex group of vitamins and is essential for helping the body to convert foods into fuel, so that it has energy to burn off. Vitamin H is required to keep the hair, skin and eyes healthy. It also assists in metabolizing proteins and fats. Vitamin H helps in strengthening the hair, as it can be found in many cosmetic products, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center. A lack of vitamin H may result in hair loss. The best sources of vitamin H are eggs and nuts. You can also find this vitamin at your local whole foods store.

Hi, I have been in the vitamin business for about 20 years and the best product I have found is on this website. When you get to the website be sure to read the fact sheet. It will also make your finger nails grow fast too plus, it is very good for your connective tissues like tendons and muscles. I personally have been taking this product for the better part of 15 years and it has done wonders for me. I hope this will help you. John

Hi lady, I was browsing through this website looking at hair growing tips and came across your post. Im 31 and I've struggled with thin/ wavy hair all my life and Ive learned a lot about managing it over the years. Firstly, as addictive as it is - please stop using hair extensions! Get a cut to remove all spilt ends (hair splitting rate is faster than hair growth!!). It should take a couple months for it to restore itself if you do the following: 1. Get a silicon based shampoo for thin hair. Silicon is not ideal as it tends to build up and block pores over time, but in our case, we need all the help we can get to stop it from breaking! Always use conditioner on the ends! 2. Use hairdryer on medium heat only and do not use round brush which is lethal for thinning hair! Try get a soft brush. Rough dry only, no straitening the hair! 3. Salt. Sea salt or epsom salt is magical! Rub into your scalp twice a week for 2-3 mins at a time. You will start noticing the difference in just a few weeks. Your hair will fall in the first few weeks, however, as the weak hairs falls - the new hair will start to regrow, so dont panic! 4. Take multi vitamins, drink 3-4 glasses of water and cut down on alcohol as it plays up with our hormones which directly effects our hair! 5. Greens - broccoli, brussel sprouts, kale, spinach .. the greener the better! I used to dislike those, but I add a bit of crumbled feta cheese, some chopped chili, juice of half a lemon and some olive oil and it tastes amazing! Reduce stress! Stress has a direct effect on our hair and skin. Good luck and hope you follow some of my advice and see the benefits! I promise you it will if you follow my advice. I have a hypothyroidism and a PCOS so my methods are tried and tested and I swear by them! :-)

Hair needs nutrition just like the rest of our body, however, hair needs a variety of nutrients to grow. Vitamins and amino acids are very important for hair growth. Amino Acids break down as protein, which is what hair consists of. Vitamins like B12, Niacin, Panothenic acid are found in many hair vitamins. Look for amino acids, lots of them, in the ingredient list. Here are two that I found with a good ingredients list:

Biotin, niacin, and amino acids help hair grow faster. Try taking a vitamin that has all of these in there. Like Hair Formula 37.
