I am 35 years old with pain under right rib cage that started about 3 weeks ago. I went to the dr and they did blood work and told me my liver enzymes are high and rbc count is high. I then was told I needed a sonogram. I had that done and was told I had acities and to go to the er. I went the er and they did more blood work and a ct ..... The dr came in and said everything looked great! I'm so thankful it all looks good but still have this pain...... What should I do?????

So the doctors found that your liver enzymes are high and your RBC count is high as well.  In addition, you have ascites and was recommended to the ER.  Then the ER doctor tells you that everything is fine.  This doctor is inaccurate in his findings and I would encourage you to have this pain looked into further.  You could have something going on with your liver since the liver enzymes are high.  The liver may not be taking care of the old red blood cells in your blood as evidenced by the high red blood cell count.  You should make sure you have your physician refer you to a specialist as soon as possible.
