I had the same problem. I used to weigh about 250lb and i suddenly thought to myself why am i doing this? I don't want to look like this any more. Me and my good friend lost weight together, when we went out for meals we had water instead of wine and a salad instead of pizza or burgers, every morning we would go for a mile run and we supported each other throughout every part and I am now down to 130lb so the support of friends and family is immensely important if you want to lose weight.

I have a 14-yr old nephew who was also overweight. We encouraged him to play sports that he's interested in. Something that requires him to be physically active. So he joined a certain sport. We also monitored his eating habits. We encouraged him to slowly cut back on the portions of his meals, which he did. And after a few months, he lost his excess weight and has continued to keep his ideal weight. My advice to you is the same as what we encouraged with my nephew.;) good luck!:)

Im 17 years old and i am 5'7" i come from a family of SKINNY sibilings. I weight about 180. and it gets hard waking up every morning knowing that im not happy with my own body. People even at my own school think that i need to lose weight. my x boyfriend thinks that im perfect but when i look at my self i want to just cry. I was pregnant so i know that some of that has to do with being pregnant but ive been over weight since i was about 10. when i was little i was so skinny. I would do anything to just be happy with my own body and not have to listen to my own parents call me fat and say i need to lose some weight. it hurts to know that your own parents and sibilings call you fat and put you down. it kinda doesnt help my situation.

Im 19 and im Over Wight aswell! friends are all size 8s and im a stumpy 12 with the belly hanging over my trousers! ( not cool) boyfriend likes me the way i am! i am going to the gym tomorrow for the first time with my boyfriend. I am about oh....100 pounds overwieght....i have ideas to lose wieght ...i know how...its just i lack will power....yes i want to be skinny but that takes a lot of time and patience and willpower.... actually my mom would let me go through surgery if i wanted....but i dont....why? its because I want to lose that wieght no matter how hard it is ....and another reason is im afraid of any surgery....so yea...just saying ....the key is less calories and more exercise

hi, the problem with me is that im not overweight, well, i think so, im about 80 - 90 pounds, the thing is i look overweight :$ ...its weird, i have tried limiting when im really hungry and when im not, i have also tried running more and doing more outside activities, but i still look overweight. What should i do? please...i really need help. :-( and btw if your just gonna say that im too young to worry about my weight, well give me a better answer.

Hey girl,I know what your going through.I can say that I am super overweight,but I could stand to loose a few pounds.I definetly DO NOT suggest that you do anything to harm your body(ex-anarexia,bulimia)those are NOT GOOD AT ALL.That only makes you sick. Here are some tips that I have studied up on:
-The "7-7-10" rule-Don't wake up later than 7am(8 is ok)
-Don't eat anything past 7 pm
-Try not to go to bed later than 10
It is good to keep a healty,balanced schedual.
-Try to exercise AT LEAST 5 hours a week-This can be really easy!You can take a walk,or ride your bike or run for an hour each day.Or you can join a gym.On the weekends,do something active and fun!
-Pay attention to your portion sizes!I know its hard to do.Drink some hot water w/lemon in the in the morning.Drink lots of water!Try not to mix bad carbs with meat.
But,what matters most is whos on the insdide.We are beautiful through GODS eyes.

I dont live a life where i can excerise alot through the day and i also dont have the chance to go to sleep early, because by the time i get my kids in bed, i finally have some time to myself. so i usually go to bed by 12 a.m. I really need a way to loose weight. i think about my weight all day and night. I get scared that im going to get diabetes or other things that can harm me. I feel like im letting myself and my kids down because i feel depressed most of the time. i dont know wat to do and need some good advice. Also i wanted to add that i have been excersing and trying to eat right but still no progress. I have consulted my doctor which prescribed diet pills which cost $180 a month and it makes you loose 20 lbs a week but i cant afford them. I need HELP trying 2 figure out whats my next step..PLZ!!

I'm an overweight tween, only still 12 years old and over 135 pounds. I bet its not that bad but I barely have time to excersise (or I'm too lay to, heheh) and I don't exactly eat right all the time. I dont like me's veggies much.. everyone in my family says that I'm still young and I could still become healthier when I actually put effert in my goals and not be a giver upper all the time.

wanting to look like one of those girls=same!! + im 12. i know im younger, but DO NOT, go on a crash diet! (not eating at all, js), it doesnt work! LOLOL, i triedd. not nicee. it made me feel soo sickk. i just work out a bit, and eat healthier, and one time i lost 13 pounds in a week and a half, whiich is pretty good, especially if your like me! it made a big difference! :) and exercising, you can like walk with your friends, of your fam, or anyone, i walk around my school at lunch time with my friends!
