My problems started in 2001. First, I was diagnosed with Pericarditis after contracting Coxsachey virus. After that, I got Pericarditis 2 more times in 4 years. In that time, I got Digoxin for atrial fibrillation. In the meantime, I got pregnant and deliver with no problems. Since I have small kid to take care of, I need this atrial fibrillation to be treated for good. Also, I heard about some ablationtechniques, is ablation a choice for my condition?

Atrial fibrillations are usually treated with medications. There are several kinds of medications that can be used. Some of them are solatol, flecanide or propafenone. In some cases, we decide to use those ablation techniques that you have heard about. Usually drugs are used therapy as long as they make you better. If you really want radical treatments, such as ablation, you must consult your cardiologist about it. This technique requires large checking to be done in advance.
