Hello,
I’ve been diagnosed with gastroparesis, acid reflux and serious esophagus inflammation in June 2012. and ever since then I still occasionally run into foods or drinks that make my symptoms even worse. This one was even recommended by my GI doctor - to try drinking a Gatorade because of electrolytes at least every other day.
The problem is, it made me really nauseous even after a few sips, so I didn’t drink anymore. So far I haven’t managed to find any info on whether one should drink gatorade when suffering from GI problems - some people seem to have no problem at all with it. Is it just me?

Gatorade is a big no-no for folks with GI problems. It has loads of citric acid which would increase the acidity levels of your stomach.
