I'm 34 weeks pregnant and was diagnose with gestational diabeties. I have a really hard time controlling my blood sugar. I did some research and found out that vinegar could help lower blood sugar. I really want to drink 1 or 2 tbs of vinegar before each meal but don't know if I should.

I think you might have heard of apple cider vinegar but it has to be organic because main stream apple cider vinegars are not reliable. As far as being pregnant, since this is not a chemical or drug it should be safe but you might want to check with your regular doctor before administering anything druing pregnancy.

I had gestational diabetes too. I have not heard that drinking vnegar helps . You have to really watch your diet. No sweets, only high fber bread, eat more vegetables than fruit. I had to watch my diet and take insulin shots twice a day. My baby was born a month early. Rest a lot. You can eat lots of meat, fat is not a problem to eat either since eating fat will actually reduce blood sugar levels. Just watch the carbs and sugar.
