Two weeks ago, I woke up with a strain in my lower neck / upper back / left shoulder. The pain lasted for just over a week. One week after the strain began, right before it went away, a rash appeared in the middle of this area (the back of my left shoulder). It is very light red, there aren't many bumps, they are located in a patch that has a 1.5" diameter, and its appearance hasn't changed at all since it suddenly began. The itch has spread in the last week, though, even spreading a little to the front of my shoulder (and a light redness has spread with it). Are the strain and the itch connected?
