I need some help with my grandfather’s health problem. He has been diagnosed with anthracosis, it seems that he got it because of the decades he spent working as a mining engineer (he was on the locations most of the time). Is there a cure for this problem? Will he be ok?
I guess that depends on the progression of his condition. This is a lung condition that develops in people who work in the mines, although it is not that common today because of the enhanced safety measures. But, obviously it is still present. I guess he will have to stay away from the mines for a while, and use medications such as corticosteroids.
