Have seen two dermatologists for irritating condition of the scrotum, with no help. Can this be cured?

I too have a very itchy scrotum--and no rash of any kind. I've tried most the creams, etc., and don't want to use heavy duty drugs like hydracortisone. Nothing seemed to help. I've had jock itch before, and that was not the problem here. What I found that provides 24hr comfort (temporary RELIEF) is rinsing the area with REALLY HOT water (I use a hand sprayer shower attachment). It feels like a really good scratching session, but doesn't break the skin. According to a couple of poison ivy sites, the hot water releases natural antihystamine in the skin, and it stops the itching. After I dry off, I coat the scrotum with 100% jojoba oil (said to be the most like your own skin oil), and I have 24 hour relief. Don't know if this will help anyone else, but it's sure made a difference in my life! By the way, from what I've read, really hot water can kill sperm in your testicles (ancient birth control method), so don't do this if you're trying to conceive children. Other than that, I've been doing this for more than a year, and have no problems or side effects.
