Hi Mike, don't worry about going to the toilet soo much it's normal' I was like you going about6 times a day and trying to figure out how as i'm sure i wasn't eating that amount of food. I take it Citrocil (citrucil) is a fibre supplementif you want you could give this up and try psyillium husk which is a natural fibre. The noises are also normal and so is the gas i'm at week 9 and still farting like a trooper lol..

If you have been straining while going to the toilet STOP IT NOW!!! or you'll end up back where you started. If you are feeling a bit blocked up eat a couple of pieces of licorice (natural) every day this will help move things a bit but let things come out naturally.
There is a mix called fibre cleanse that i've been using (psyillium husk & slippery elm bark and carob) which has kept things moving quite well. I don't like taking those orange flavoured supplements as they are full of sugar replacements like aspartame which is no good for you. The more natural things you can eat/take the better. If you are getting itchy try using pawpaw ointment this will help with that.

let us know how you go..

thank you Craig. I will stop taking that now, and look for that stuff. How long before you could go back to work because right now i don't think it would be possible especially with how i keep going to the bathroom?

Anything under 4 weeks is a tall order to ask for but you could be lucky after 3weeks try keeping up on the ice treatment as this will help with the swelling. I know it's bloody tuff going but it all worth it i haven't been able to put in a full days work for over 16mths so to be able to get up first thing in the morning and to be able to move around for the whole day is just a blessing. The only thing I'm pissed off about is i'm going to have to give up my cycling which i dearly love, but i' don't want this to happen again so i think i'll have to take up YOGA !!

Well its been a long time, i have had the surgery 4 months ago now, and i had developed a fissure from my surgery like almost 2 months ago. I used the diilatizium wax and i've ate lots of fiber. But now the pain isn't as bad as it once when i have a bowel movement, but things are still really bad and it burns a lot. It still doesn't come out too easy and sometimes can still be a little hard. I still have some pain and it can be bad and after i am still hurting and really sore and cant move around very good. I usually take a half of vicodin pill after i go a lot. i go every morning and usually 2 times a night, and i'm always on the toilet for like 45 minutes. Things just do not seem to be getting better. I am going back to the doctor Friday Sept 24. Last time i saw him him he had mentioned possibly putting me under again and maybe ever cutting a piece of muscle. I told some people and they are telling me I shouldn't do it because i wont be able to control it any more. So now i am really nervous and not sure what to do. I also haven't worked for the past 4 months. Anybody know what possibly can be going on and what i should do??
