It sounds like you may have cysts, that can be treated with a antibiotic and ointment. Mupirocin is a great one and make sure to keep clean.

You may have a candida (fungus) infection which can cause sores like this. They won't heal unless you use an anti fungal cream. Try removing the scab, put some Lotrimin (anitfungal) cream on it on it and cover with a band aid on it. If it is fungal it should clear up.

There are no worms involved in ringworm. If you have ringworm you have fungi infection. Not worms under the skin.

Valtrex works both on herpes simplex A & B which includes regular cold sores. Not sure who told you this but I work in this and I know it's for both viruses.

I have the same condition, and I also have tried everything to seemingly no end. Please keep updating this thread, because it it really the only place I've seen so many other folks with the same condition. I've gone to SO many dermatologists, who either are no help, or just directly blame me for the damage, but I know that there is something else going on here. Exactly as the original poster stated, It starts with a small white bump, and after it is burst it turns into a wound that seemingly never heals, because it keeps filling up with blood. I am at my wits end here, but I've decided to try Valtrex and see if it might help. Thanks for keeping this thread going, as it certainly seems like the only place to get this info

Prurigo Nodularis is my diagnosis. I seem to have what has been described by most people here. I have had these itchy sores that start with hard seed-like nodules for almost 4 years. Once the "seed" gets out of the sore it scabs over, the skin becomes dry and scaley and itches most all the time. Also it appears to be black or purplish under the sore. If the scab gets removed it will bleed quite a lot. should be treated with steroids like prednisone, but DO NOT treat without consulting a doctor. Look up the name, Prurigo Nodularis, on the internet and see if you have some of the conditions that are said to cause these sores.

My son had molluscom the worst thing that you can do is squeeze them. They pop up all over body by being spread from touching they are also very contagious within children. The body will fight them, but it does take up to 18 months.

Get on vitamin D. I had that for years any time I was in the sun. It finally went away but it started after a sunburn and I think my immune system freaked out. Take vitamin D 5,000 daily, a B complex and vitamin C. keep covered up in the sun. My D was so very low that the doctor put me on 50,000 IU 2X WEEK for like 3 months. U need a prescription for that and labs but vit D 5,000 IU with the other supplements will help. Also use sunscreen but just like a 8 or 15... not 30 or 50. We need some sun.
