I'm a 26 year old male. My last sexual relation was nearing 6 years ago. I bathe daily and have good hygiene.
About 6 months ago I started getting an rather annoying itch on my testicles. If I scratch the skin after any amount of sweat, a colored stinking film comes off onto the nail.
I tested the color recently with a white back of an old credit card, and it seems to be brownish (I am colorblind, but I do believe it's brown).
I havn't worried about this until recently, I want to ensure that my new girlfriend is not repulsed by the smell.
Is this something that can be solved by an over-the counter medicine, or should I see a doctor? I'm rather embarrassed by this situation, but I figured if this is somewhat common I might be able to handle this without showing my jewels to my family doctor (who is also a woman).
