Im 14 and i just started to finger myself but i only get one finger in, today when i did it i pulled my finger out and it was covered in blood! did i tear my hymen a little, am i having my period? Ive never had my period yet and when i looked up online it said maybe my hymen is blocking my mestral flow? Did i start my period or am i bleeding from something else?
first a lesson on the hymen: it is a mucus membrane that sometimes exists, sometimes not, sometimes porous, sometime complete. To be "Covered in blood", doesnt seem like a hymen thing, I only had a little spot of blood when I first started to touch myself.
In all reality it could be your period. Sometimes when I have sex with my bf, I will get my period soon there after if I am expecting it.
Either way dont stress it too much, the hymen is this crazy stupid thing that society likes to obsess over because apparently a womans virginity is the most important thing to ever happen to her (lol, not). If its your period, I recommend OB tampons lol.
