No matter which type of diabetes you suffer from, you can have a successful pregnancy but there are a couple of thing you need to know. First of all you have to be aware they you will need to make an extra effort and commitment, you will need to educate yourself about diabetes management, and you will need extra money for managing all the extra medical and laboratory tests. To become pregnant you blood sugar needs to be in good control. You have to learn yourself to monitor it, as blood sugar needs to be in control to avoid birth abnormalities. You need to be in your idea body weight in order not to complicate both diabetes and pregnancy. You also need to choose a good hospital where they will take good care of you.
