I am 65 and had extreme pain down big toes to mid-foot.Have had Kellers bilateral on both feet.15/2/07.Was walking and out same day.Had spinal injection and sedation ,my choice.Used few pain killers, some bleeding first night.Due to have stitches removed after a week.Have i been lucky? What should I expect over next few weeks?I previously had hip and knee pain possibly because I was walking on outside of my feet.Am I likely to have done damage over the years or may I get improvement in these areas as my walking adjusts.?19/02/07

Hi, I am due to have a Kellers bunion operation next month due to arthritis.
I was offered a Kellers or fusion. I have not been reading good things about the Kellers - such as used for elderly people and those not very active. I am 58 and still fairly active. I love walking the dog, walking to work and going on holidays.
Can you let me know the outcome of your foot op please? Can you walk very far now? Are you glad you had the operation?
Thank you in anticipation
