I have a kidney infection but yet to have my period and it is pass due and almost the end of the month. Need to know if this is common with kidney infections??

A lot of times, when a woman has a kidney infection and is put on antibiotics, her menstrual cycle can be interrupted. Personally, I suffer from frequent kidney infections, and every time an antibiotic is prescribed, my cycle is thrown completely off. Your body becomes so busy fighting the infection, your hormones are out of control.

My period is 3 days late and normally it is like clockwork. I have a bad ache in my neck and feel like I am bent double because of the pain in my lower back. Sometimes before I get a cycle I get this pain in my back anyway, so I dont know if there is anything wrong. Though been peeing a lot , even having to get up out of bed 3 times in the night to urinate. thats not normal-is it?
The key is you've noticed this is not normal for you (to pee three times in one night.) Combined with extreme lower back pain, the situation seems serious. These were similar symptoms to mine when I had a kidney infection caused by a UTI. But it could be something else. Please seek a doctor's help immediately. (Written to help the next person with this problem, as I'm sure this situation has resolved for this lady!)
It seems to me you have a kidney infection. Completely normal for your period to be thrown off. Visit the er or your doctor ASAP!!
