Hi, my sister is using Klonopin. Can anyone explain me what kind of medicine is that? Are there any categories of patients which shouldn’t use it?
Hi, you are interested in quite rarely used medication. Klonipin Qsis used in treatment of the Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, akinetic and myoclonic seizures. Specially in cases where patient with absence seizures is not responding to succinimides, Klonopin may be useful. If you are over sensitive to benzodiazepines, don’t take Klonopin. Also biochemical evidences of significant liver disease should be taken into account and rather avoid Klonopin. It is also contraindicated in acute narrow angle glaucoma.
