hey, I've always had back pain since i was 13 (now 16), i went to the doctor and he said that i have scoliosis, i had some treatments. But 7 months ago, my lower back started killing me, and i had too much pain all around my back and my legs and my neck sometimes. i went today to do an X-ray, and then they found out that i have an extra vertebrae in the spine, i'm so scared, what do i have to do for it? any treatments? do i have to do a surgery? i'm only 16 and i'm suffering from such a killing back pain :S

i am 16 also and found out a couple days ago i have an extra lumbar vertebrae. i wish i had an answer for you but my doctor is skeptical that this would cause my back pain, i wanted to tell him to shove it because it is causing me extreme back pain.
