My daughter is 27 years old and she is pregnant, second month of pregnancy. Thee problem is, she had several seizure episodes, although they occurred very rarely. Since the pregnancy is specific condition, I would like to know what will happen. She has been using Lamotrigine before, should she start again?
No she mustn't. Great number of medications should not be used in first three months of pregnancy because they might damage the process of fetal growth. I think that she must talk to her gynecologist and see what would be the best thing to do. Use of the most of the medicaments is out of the question, for now.
