Laparotomy may be the best choice for dealing with an ectopic pregnancy, when patient is unstable or bleeding heavily. But many ectopic pregnancies end spontaneously very early. Implantation in fallopian tube happens the most often of all ectopics. This type is the most likely to resolve spontaneously. The incidence of tubal pregnancy is higher among women with previous fallopian tubal surgery or disease. Symptoms like vaginal bleeding, abdominal and right shoulder pain are seen in women with rupture caused by EP.
