My mom has undergone this surgery 6 months back. Actually we planned for just total hysterectomy but her CA125 level was much high. So we consulted our Oncologist and done the surgery. Histopathology report was normal and she is fine now. Usually post hysterectomy we will sart the patient on hormonal tablets, like oestrogens and all, but the consultant told her to start after 6 months of post op. She was having the symptoms before ,excessive sweating, irritable and all. But now its very much less, sometimes she is c/o knee pain thesedays. Now her CA125 level has come to the normal range and our dr. is out of station right now.So I am much worried now and don't understand what to do next.
Should I ask any of gynaecs and start the treatment..??? or should I start her on the common PREMARIN tab as usually prescribing for such cases.????? I am scared of all the side effects of that drug.
Kindly help me in this.

There are no any efficient gynaecs available in our nearby place, and I cant bring her here in bangalore as travelling is restricted for her by the doctor.
