Have a bit of a dilemma. I'm in my 2nd year at uni, doing a language degree, so am due to go abroad next year, however I'm about 14 weeks pregnant.

I had an abortion a few years ago, and lost a baby last year (which I was going to keep), I was devastated after both of these events, and would have done anything to being the child back each time.

I was sort of planning to keep this baby, after having a dating scan, where I saw the baby kicking about...but my boyfriend really does not want the baby, and carrying on with what i'm doing would be impossible without his support. I feel I might have to have an abortion, and was just wondering if anyone had any experience of having an abortion at this point or later in the pregnancy? How it felt etc.

Didn't cope well last time, and not sure how much worse it would be being further along.

Thanks.

With fourteen weeks of pregnancy or a late term abortion, they simply don't suction the baby out. They pull the live baby out limb by limb, torso, and head. They simply tear the baby's body apart and then they reassemble it outside the womb to make sure they aren't missing anything. I know it's something you wouldn't want to hear but it's the truth and I believe in honesty being the best policy. At 14 weeks, the baby has all it's organs and can feel pain. If you wanted to know the kind of procedure they do, I believe it's called a D&E procedure. You could google it to get more information.
