My wife almost died yesterday, she was down the local park with the kids and got the new shoes wet, soon after she turned red and her body started to burn, she rushed home, had a shower, and she was rapidly in critical anaphylaxis, the ambulance arrived just in time 6 minute, when she started having difficulty breathing. She was hit 7 x times with adrenaline, they had to call a second ambulance, since they ran out of med. Thank took her to the ER, almost died.
I figured out the cause very fast, and am so thank full that I have been able to correlate my theory with other peoples experiences online.

That's exactly what these manufacturers want. For you to be in the dark .it all revolves around Big pharmaceutical company's. Let me explain. They know they have you cornered. What will you do? These massive chemical corporations make billions of dollars on products that make you sick. If you think about it...they are all around us. In our food, in our furniture, in our clothing, bedding, on our lawns, in our dish soap must I go on? Then when you dont know what else to do because your terrible ill, you go back to these chemical giants for more chemicals ( so called medicine), and then you get even sicker from side affects as they continue to make more and more money. What are you supposed to do? Educate yourself. And no this fellow is not rediculous.

I've just recently bought skechers with memory foam insoles. They felt soft and comfortable at first. But since I've been walking in them my feet feel sore at the bottom and creating problems. I feel like I have wasted my money buying these and with shoes you can't even return them once they've been used

I bought 2 pair of Sketcher loafers and feet started to hurt and burn.... after 2 weeks of wearing them I couldn't walk for 7 months...this was a very difficult time trying to figure out what happend to me. I am still in pain 2 1/2 years later...my immune system went into overdrive and caused Lupus!!!! These manufacturers letting China make these shoes is a disaster!!! I only wish I would have known to save the shoes for testing..... then sue the bastards for taking my health!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel dizzy the instant I put on memory foam shoes, which is why I never buy them, but most people look at me funny if I tell them memory foam shoes make me dizzy. I am glad to know there ARE others in the same boat... or shoes.

I thank you all, it helps me a great deal to know that I am not alone or having psychosomatic symptoms! I have many pairs of shoes and I can't wear any of them. I want to throw them all away now, along with my mattress. I'm thinking leather shoes may be a good alternative. I am going to look for leather shoes. I wish you all good foot health. I totally share this pain!

I have always bought and worn skechers successfully. However the latest ones have created rashes on my feet.
I noticed that there was a change in the country of manufacture! Are they using cheaper products? I know it's the skechers now as when I wear alternative shoes I don't get this terrible red itchy rash.

I had the same problem, but mostly on fire burning and couldn't walk for months. Also, my hands began to burn on fire and it spread throughout my body to some degree.... after 5 years, I'm still not 100% well. I literally almost died... I soaked in apple cider vinegar, Ice water, and put my feet against the vent of my car air conditioner for months. I also had jabbing pain in random areas of my body that felt like someone was jabbing me with a knife, and menthol sensations on my upper back towards my neck... I began a detox routine with juicing greens with cilantro to pull the toxins out...Still not sure what toxins it was that got in my feet from my sketcher shoes...My immune system worked so hard to fight the foreign substance that it began to attack itself...My bones became D deficient as I couldn't walk and getting out in the heat made it worse...(I wouldn't wish this kind of pain on my worst enemy) Now, my feet get super cold and I have to keep socks on at all times. The burning at night comes and goes, but not bad like it was for the first year...I take more supplements for bones & blood, and pray to God for complete healing, as only HE can do....Because the doctors could do nothing for me.

Thank you for this. I had the same problem with some slip on sandals I was wearing in the house all day. On reading your review when I changed the shoes the itching, soreness and redness went. Like you I was using anti-fungal and it was making it worse. The burning was terrible and the itching. Took about two weeks to get rid of it. I think we have to be careful what socks contain too. I put just basic dermal cream on my feet which is an antimicrobial for itchy skin for the two weeks.

I was getting neuropathic pains in my right foot. Finally thought of memory foam even though I spend at least $100 for good shoes. As soon as I took them off, the pains went away. Instead I've been wearing a cheap Birkenstock plastic like knockoff the past few days. I got extreme vertigo twice today. Once from the computer chair that I switched for a wooden dining room chair this morning, and the other from my shoes this evening. Just today (5/21/22)! About 5 or 6 years ago, I got a memory foam topper and woke up with a migraine and felt like I had been beaten up every day. Sent that off to Freecycle once I put 2 and 2 together. Then months later, I got a good headset from BestBuy and went to sleep listening to one of my Audibles. I woke up with a start about 10 minutes later with the white of my eye so swollen it looked like it was going to pop. So, I've been avoiding memory foam for years and the past several weeks, that in shoes. Today, I read on that among the symptoms of memory foam allergy are extreme dizziness and even fainting, which I almost did today. Ordered a good pair of sneakers today from Cariumba and plan to get cork-only Birkenstocks from Collegetown near Cornell, an investment I need to make to survive. Cariumba sneakers do have a cork-memory foam sole but it is removable. Ordered a pair of alpaca insoles I'll put in instead or get a shoe repair person to make me something special. Amazing it took over 5 years to get *very* allergic to shoes and a computer chair. Vertigo was for first time in my life (I'm 70, plant based, no prescriptions, extremely healthy but very sensitive to chemicals)! Felt like I could have died today.

I was only listing the website to introduce myself. I do NOT need more work! Hoped there was a way to edit it.

My memory foam shoes made me dizzy too. Thought I had gotten rid of all my good pairs but still some MF in even Birkenstocks. Then, the hardness off the Birkies sent me into neuropathy. So now, I am temporarily wearing slippers stuffed with natural cotton or alpaca, etc. It works okay. Have appointments on doctor referral with dermatologist, physiatrist (nerve conduction), and orthopedist. Meanwhile, I'm going to try to find someone who can make cotton Mary Jane style shoes with about an inch off organic cotton in them. Pretty much all I can wear. In the winter with snow, maybe my Ugg-like boots will work.

Be careful with natural rubber latex. Repeated exposure causes allergies that can get worse over time and can become very severe. I had thought that "natural" would be better but in this instance, it isn't necessarily true. See if you can find a different alternative - for example an all cotton Japanese futon mattress.
