I am 16 years old and I was diagnosed with a lazy gall bladder when I was 14.. I have recently in that past few months have had diarrhea everyday, and no matter what I eat, it happens. I have no idea why this is going on because with a lazy gall bladder don't you get constipated?.. I don't know I just need a medical opinion, because I don't have medical insurance to be checked out by a doctor.

You don't necessarily get constipated from a lazy gall bladder. I would interpet the lazy gall bladder, as when you eat, the gall bladder is not dumping enough enzymes to break down the food quickly. Which is not all that bad of a deal. Most people live without their gall bladder, such as myself. It has no adverse affect on my stools, I did notice that a few weeks after I had loose stools but that quickly diminished with proper diet. In my opinion if you are constantly having loose stools, it could be something other than your gall bladder. Diet is the key ingredient to how you waste. Drink plenty of fluids, as I assume you are, and try not to eat high fat foods. You might want to try a stool hardner, but don't use it for an extended period of time. Hope this helps. Oh and loose stools everyday for more than two weeks, needs to be checked out by a doc. Insurance or no insurance, you have to get care. The bast alternative to having no insurance and needing a doc is somewhere like an urgent care or quick care facility, they are usually pretty cheap. Also, your parents should be insuring you till your eighteen. ;-)

try to see if you may have issues with intolerance to some foods, like dairy products- milk, cheese, yogurt- or fruits, or type of water-tap water has a lot of chlorine and even bacteria- or other ingredients that are added in the food to make it tasteful.
