Youll be okay, but the sooner you take some of those pills the better youll feel. It will go away! Its just a very sensitive spot so obviously, itll swell up and hurt. I was in so much pain and couldnt sit, lay down, or walk! But, that's also because I waited too long to do anything, I thought it would just go down on its own. BUT, trust me, take some pills like 'Ibuprofen', that helps with the pain and makes the swelling go down. Hope you feel better soon! Dont worry! You will be ok!

I found this thread because I thought I had a pulled muscle, but it turned out to be a Bartholin's cyst that turned into an abcess. Look it up on Wikipedia. You probably need to see your ob/gyn.

I just got back from the obgyn for this same problem. It IS serious, you MUST get to a obgyn. If you can't go to the hospital NOW. It's NOT a torn muscle. It's a cyst and it HAS to be taken care of ASAP. Mine is infected because I went a week without having it taken care of thinking it wasn't that bad. At day 5 it hurt to walk, day 6 I could barely sit to drive. Day 7 I was in so much pain I could barely move. Once it is swollen and hard it HAS to be taken care of immediately.
Please go to your obgyn or urgent care immediately. I'm having mine fixed 2 days from now, which will be 9 days since it originally happened. I'm in incredible pain. My doctor put me on cipro and pain killers. The procedure to fix it requires putting me under and cleaning the wound out. It can be a problem again if it's not properly fixed and having an infection or bleeding inside your body is not ok. You can have serious complications from it. It's an infection in the duct and it HAS to be taken care of.
Do NOT ignore it. Your health is most important and if you are in pain go to a doctor asap. Being really sick is far worse than telling your parents you have a problem. It can happen without rough sex so if you don't want anyone to know if it happened due to that don't tell anyone, but you HAVE TO get to a doctor asap.

Apparently, those who have had it become a cyst tend to stay with that problem now. Every so often, theyll get a cyst to form again.
Ive noticed this gland will swell a little even, like I said earlier when you get too 'excited', making me always worry that itll form into a cyst again, it usually doesnt. But, I wouldnt want to live like this forever, always worrying about having a problem like this, I want to be NORMAL!!
Do you know if theres an answer to not have this ever again??

You might have popped a vein...... That happened to me. I had sex with my boyfriend 2 days ago & we got really into it, like the good rough stuff. Next thing u know my whole left labia is swollen and purple.
I just went to the doctor today & she told me I might have popped a vein down there. She told me to sit in cold (as cold as I could stand) water for 15 mins. each day, & put pressure one it afterwards by wearing a pad & something tight (not jeans though).
She told me to come back in 2 days & if the swelling hasn't gone down by then she might have to cut it a little to let whatever it is inside (blood? pus?) to come out.
Do u think this could be the problem? However mine isn't hard... You should also look up Bartholin cyst...
So just visit your vajayjay doctor...
Hope this helps

Sounds about the same problem. I recently had this problem yet again. Quick relief I found from this is to get in the bath tub with hot water for at least 20 minutes and after that it 'pops' and pain is all gone. Also take some ibuprofen or some kind of pain reliever. but I definitely recommend you to get in the bath tub with hot water! it really works!
