HI. I’ve recently been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome and my docter prescribed me Librax. Does anybody here knows anything about this drug?? Has anybody here take it?? What are it’s side effects?? Thanks for all advices.

Librax is a combination of a benzodiazepine (chlordiazepoxide) and an antispasmodic medication (clidinium) and it is widely used to treat condition you have. Generally it performs well and results are usually positive but, just as any other drug, it has some side effects. Of course, weather you will experience any is individual. The most common are bloated feeling, dizziness, drowsiness, decreased sweating, dryness of mouth and headache. Of course, there are some others like loss of memory, nausea and eye pain or blurred vision but those are very rare. Anyway, you should see it with your doc.
