I recently had smart lipo. How long does it take for vaginal bruising and swelling to go away? My Dr. says it should go away within a couple of weeks. However my pubic area is red and the size of an orange. It looks and feels awful. For the most part it's still numb. When can I finally get back to normal in regards to look and size of that area?

Hi trix, how long ago does 'recently' mean? Hs it been two weeks since you have had the lipo done or are you just now recovering from it. I think that if you just had it doen, then it's pretty normal that you haven't seen the swelling go down yet but if it's been at least two weeks then you should talk to your doctor about it because clearly something is going wrong! PLease let us know how you're recovering and if you need any moral support :-)
