I got off my birth control pills near the last day of September. I have not had regualr periods since then. In fact I have spotting for 8 days then I will be on my period for another 6. Heavy one. Why have I been spotting then starting my period, when should I go back to having normal periods. - I can tell you that when I first started my mentstrual was when I was in 5th grade... it was 8 days but never spotting, then heavier periods? why is my body still doing this. I heard that.. once you get off of birth control pills it is usally will go back to normal. -

Well it is possible that your body just got used to the birth control and doesnt know how to handle it . If your truely concerned then just go talk to your doctor . It couldn't hurt .
