i been having lower abdominal bloating and irregular periods . Also a little weight gain and i wanted to know what could be the cause. I don't think im pregnant.

ask to be tested for H Pylori....i had all the symptoms of IBS and dealt with it for over a year....I went to a different dr because I felt like my current one wasn't listening to me any longer and she asked me if i have ever been tested for H. Pylori (i had never heard of it)...The test came back positive and I went on to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy, CT scan and ultrasounds. I ended up having silent reflux and gastritis --all caused by H.Pylori...I took very strong antibiotics for a month and have never felt better. It was amazing what a difference it made. However, I believe I am having another "flare" because I am getting the symptoms again....H.Pylori never really goes away....
