I don't understand why no one has come back to report their docotr visit. I have an ultrasound tomorrow and I know they won't find anything, this is the way it always happens. Then you end up running all over town taking various test that come back negative. I've had addominal pain in the past but not with "the baby movement". Would someone come back and report the results. It makes me think no one made it or something, it is got me in a panic.

well are you losing weight? how fast? and its unusual because you are eating more then usual? what about your face do u look pale and feel weak? maybe your iron is low because you may have a tape worm it lives in the intestines and keeps growing until being removed it will eat your digested food and make you lose weight there is a trick you can do but it is weird you might not feel comfortable doing it but you will another person to help you. ok you will have to lay on your side bottomless and put a big bowl of milk beside your anus after a little while the other person might see a tape worm poke out it will respond to milk also look up tape worm they can grow to be long i am talking meters its scary but try it.

I had the same thing, H/o misscarrage 5 months prior so I thought it was a twin that survived. The 2 test was negative that I took. My Symptoms: bloated, consipation alternate back and forth. I look and feel 4 months pregnant, I have many children I know what it feels like to be pregnant. Occassional stabbing pains. The movements are all over Me and my husband were freaked out. I go to the bathroom number two? What looks like a worm 6-10 inches long. I Take the specimen they look at it and say its very thick mucous. So, I make them send a parasite series of test reasonably cheap. like $20 and waiting resullts it takes three days to get back. I felt nasty and I'm a very clean person. The nurse said I have IBS irratable bowel syndrom. She said she was a hundred percent sure I was wasting my time and money that she knows the signs and symptoms. She said she has had it for twenty years. She said mine was severe. I hope this helps. Also If you press one side of your belly the other can even rise and look and feel like a babys butt.

I find it such a relief to know there are others experiencing this mysterious 'baby kick'. Mine is always in the upperleft quadrant of my abdomen. It feels and looks exactly like pregnancy hiccups. It comes in regular spasms that go on and on for hours at a time. I have it now and have had it while I read through all ten pages of this blog. I poke at it, push it, drink, eat, empty my bladder and bowels, trying anything to make it stop. It is so annoying. Nothing changes it. It eventually just disappears for 1 -3 days. I tried logging my food and drink intake and bowel and bladder movements and saw little more than a slight increase in occurence when my bladder was full. Emptying my bladder seems to shorten the time it lasted. It is strong enough to visibly appear like a quick baby kick over and over although sometimes it feels as if it is going inward as well. I would also say I feel pressure on my bladder, although I haven't seen that symptom posted by anyone above. Mine never is low near the pubic bone and never 'swims' like a worm back and forth, but after reading through everyone's posts I now fear that may be what I am headed for next. It began maybe 8-12 months ago. I also have had pregnancy shaped weight gain from my usual 128 lbs to about 144 lbs in the same time frame. I attributed it to turning 40 and diet. Pregnancy is not a possibility. I took up jogging and lost a few pounds but still find the lower ab stubborn and protruding? if that's possible. I think my posture is getting more and more difficult to correct as the weight gain pulls my lower back forward. Exercise may have helped me because either coincidentally or not the symptoms did go away for a period of maybe 2 to 3 months when I was jogging and watching my diet. I am going to try concentrated abdominal excercises, caffeine reduction, and maybe start tracking my wheat and red meat intake. I'm hesitant to go through the same medical testing for what seems to me like an extremely annoying case of internal spasms of some sort. I would love to know if there is a mild over the counter muscle relaxer that may help relieve the symptoms.

From my understanding, aspirin can help out a little if you've never taken it before. I don't know if you have but that's a good muscle relaxant, and it might stop the kicking. What do you think?

Me Too!!
I went to a clinic, no insurance. Saw a student. He was convinced it's a Hernia. I don't believe it. It moves up and down. Starting just at the left of my right hip bone. I can see and feel it slowly move down toward my pelvic bone. at times it swells up and down in the same place. It's freaking me out. No pain, just discomfort. And it seems to be totally random. Please any ideas?
PS It wasn't "activating" when I went to the clinic, so of course he didn't see or feel it. Just said sounds like a Hernia, if you experience pain, go to the ER!! No kidding.

Was womdering what the Ultrasound showed? Unless it's here somewhere on this site and I can't find it. Mine said it was a hernia, but the symptoms don't match up. Good Luck

That's really odd and I do't think that it's a hernia as those tend to show up above the skin or at least manifest themselves a little differently. Can you tell me what else he said?

He said he was pretty sure it was a Hernia. And that as long as there's no pain or vomiting, I'm OK. But keep an eye on it. But I think I asked the wrong questions; I called it a lump, when it's more of a bubble that moves... I tried to explain how it moved, but I don't think I made it clear to me. He also didn't say what kind of hernia it was. Now that I read more about it, I don't really have any other signs of one. Did you get Ultrasound? The feeling is so odd, no pain, but discomfort. I'm kind of scared now and wondering what my next option is. I was hoping for more answers or post from people who had seen doctors.
Keep in touch.. I'm trying to find as much as I can on line.
