Good luck to you either way. It sounds like it's not going to be easy to figure out what your issue is without being able to see an actual physician. Do you think that'd be possible at all?

No, I don't. I really have an aversion to doctors due to childhood molestation. It's very difficult for me not to panic. Many people don't understand this...... and of course I don't know any woman that doesn't like them anyway. So I'm flustered and scared. I spoke to a doctor today who said an ultrasound alone couldn't detect a hernia, that I would need a series of tests. It's funny, with so many people having the same odd symptoms, I have not found one answer anywhere online by an actual medical professional, be it a nurse, doctor or anyone in the field. I have never had any physical problems and know my body very well. I have had this sensation for several years, it didn't bother me, my husband and I would think it odd, even curiously funny. But of late, it's much more prevalent and uncomfortable.

Thanks for asking. Was it you that had an ultrasound? Maybe it's me, but I'm having a pesky time trying to navigate this site....

Take care, and write anytime.

Hello, I have this also, it feels just like a baby kicking.. i had my son 2 years ago via c-section, and ever since i've been running into lots of problems.. this is the biggest one that freaks me out though.. i'm currently seeing a general surgeon who soon wants to go in laproscopic to see whats going on in there.. but he said it could be adhesions from the c-section surgery.... Now along with this fluttering in my abdomen..i am very sentive to touch now, if my fiance goes to hug me when we're sleeping and if he touches my lower abdomen it kinda hurts and it feels like a lot of pressure on my bladder and i HAVE TO go to the bathroom to urinate, the pain however doesn't subside until i pass a bowel movement... and this will go on everrrrrrryyyy night and morning... during the day i'm fine with the bladder.. it's when i'm laying down it acts up more.. the flutters however i feel all day, there is no pain to it, just wierd.....

has anyone who posted in the past have any results?????

THANK!

-Jessica

Hm, that sounds very strange but perhaps your abdominal walls have started to give based on having kids? I know that there's sometimes a need to have muscular reconstruction after pregnancy. Does that sounds accurate?

Hi Jessica,

The doctor I went to said I have an Inguinal Hernia! I've never had kids, but it's the same feeling you describe. Pressure on bladder and better after BM. I altered my diet a bit to see. It *seemed* to make a difference. Lots of plain oat meal. More salad, less sugar. But it freaks me out. There is no pain. I asked DR about ovarian cyst.... he said no. So I've been reading about Hernia. It sounds right. I figure the bubble is the digestion passing thru intestine and if the intestinal wall is weak, you would feel the movement. Anyway, feel free to write back and check out Inguinal Hernia info. Good luck.

I have been finding a hell of a lot of people with the same symptoms that I have been having. It happens right below my belly button...flutters, thumps, rotations, and 'kicks'. It totally feels like there's a baby in there (i've had three children). And it's NOT gas because it is only happening in the same area, without any emissions to prove the gas hypothesis.

My stomach is distended, i'm fatigued all the time, i'm horribly moody; but the kicker is, i have an IUD inserted (the 10yr one) and i've been having regular, heavy periods. I've also given myself a home pregnancy test out of sheer desperation to find out what the hell could be moving inside me and it was negative.

But, out of all the posts, I still haven't seen one that gives a diagnosis as to what it might be. I have an OB/GYN appt on the Dec 10th to have my IUD removed...thinking it may be the cause of my problems.....but these movements are getting more frequent and stronger.

Please....if anyone has any legitimate answers to this mystery, I would appreciate any information that may be helpful.

i though i was the only one with any of these sypmtoms. its pretty scary my stomach gets swollen, im constipated and it also feels as if i have something moving and kicking inside of me. im not preggers so i dont know why my stomach is acting this way. i cant sleep at night because of the movement going on. my stomach feels heavy whenever i eat something n the kicking has gotten worse.. well to me it feels worse. i thought it was gas for a while but the movement of a worm like feeling creeped me out. i know its not a child due to test and the weirdness where one second my stomach is fine then next its bloated and i have huge discomfort. i would like to know what this movement is and how i can make it go away asap because its driving me nuts i dont feel like myself with this condition.

Hi everyone, i'm new to this site. Everything you guys have described is what i experienced when i was suffering from anxiety. i felt like i had bubbles in my stomach, and i had stomach cramps. i ended up have a couple of panic attacks. i'm wondering if you guys are experiencing stress?? Your body reacts in funny ways.

I was actually searching feels like airbubbles on google, because i feel like i'm getting this but it's different because i am actually 6 weeks pregnant and have been told that there is no heartbeat and that there is bleeding around the gestational sac. having another scan this friday, but wanted to do some research in the meantime. hopefully if anyone has experienced this i'd love to hear from you!!!!

ah i feel a lot better that i am not the only one! for the past two months i started off having everything i put in my stomach end up in the toilet (gross) i visited the doctor because no food would digest correctly. i got blood tested and 2 stoool testings, they didnt come up with what was wrong and prescribed me Librax to help relax my stomach so i could eat and keep in some meals. but now it seemed to of gotten better but i recently missed my last period and i am on birth control. idk if the sudden weight loss and possible irritable bowel syndrome could have caused the skipped period but now it feels like soemthing is bubbling in my stomach! sometimes i have gas too. i took a pregnancy test and it came up negative!? idk what to do or what this is and it stresses me out and takes the focus off my day a lot. does anyone have any idea? my stomach bubbles as i type this!!! :'( i really want to get to the bottom of this! its taking over my health!

Hi, I'm 15 years old I've been experiencing these same problems except I feel this weird vibration like inside of me and it seems like a fart but its not. It's so weird and sometimes there will be a random kick in my stomach. I know I'm not pregnant because I have never had sex, but I was missing my period for about 3 months but saw a doctor and they said it was normal and you usually miss your period during adolesence. I got an ultrasound and everything seemed fine. My period came back and has been somewhat regular since then, but I still get these weird feelings inside of me and I know its not normal because I havent experienced this before.

ah.
