The same thing has been happening to me for the last two months. I've had my tubes tied for 7 years. It feels exactly like baby movements. My husband has even felt the movements when he put his hand on my lower abdomen. I went to my OBGYN. I told her I'm not saying I'm pregnant but my symptoms make me feel like I am. I tested negative and she told me that it's in my head and I need mental therapy. She asked did I want her to refer me to someone. She said my husband probably didn't feel anything but faked it to keep from hurting my feelings. She wanted me to come back for an ultra sound last week but I'm not going back there!!! It's still happening though...

Im only a teenager and haven't got my period yet but I went to my pediatrition about the same thing she pressed on my stomach and felt bubbles popping. She told me it was a virus and I had nothing to worry about. I missed 3 days of school because I couldn't take the pain for much longer. And so I came up with my own cure. I take gasX and it helps control the gas and pain in my lower and upper abdomin but don't take it at night because I did and the next day I went to school I was lke a BOMB, I could not stop farting. But my mom told me to stop eating dairy like milk, cheese, yogurt, etc and also eggs because theses make you have to fart and when you have this pain and cant fart you stomach produces more bubbles that cause the really bad pain. And o yeah to relieve the bubbles I lay down and massage my belly and move side to side so the bubbles can go down my rectum natrully and I can FART!

I'M HAVING EXACTLY THE SAME IDENTICAL PROBLEM, DOWN TO THE MUCOUSY DISCHARGE AND PAIN IN MY HIPS, KNEES, AND LOWER BACK AT NIGHT. THE SPASMY BUBBLY LOWER ABDOMEN THING IS HOW IT ALL BEGAN LAST AUGUST. SAW OB/GYNE, SHE TOTALLY DISMISSED ME AND SAID TO MY GP TO STEERED IN ANOTHER DIRECTION, POSSIBLY GASTRO. ALTHOUGH I FEEL IT THROUGHOUT MY LOWER ABDOMEN, IT BEGAN AND STILL IS VERY MUCH UTERINE/VAGINAL/CERVICAL IN NATURE, TO ME. IT STARTED OF LIKE INVOLUNTARY KEIGEL EXCERICES AND CONTINUES ON LIKE THIS I WRITE THIS, WITH NOT SO MUCH PAIN, AS ANNOYANCE AND DISCOMFORT, ALMOST LIKE MY PERIOD'S ABOUT TO START BUT IT'S NOT. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY AND I CAN'T AFFORD TO GO SEE A BUNCH DOCTORS WHO ARE JUST GOING TO DISMISS ME AT EVERY TURN AND COST ME A FORTUNE. WHAT IS THIS?

I, too, am experiencing movement like a baby, bubbles, and fluttery feelings. It started some time after I had my daughter (who is 4 now). So it has been going on for a couple of years now. I have taken more pregnancy tests than I can count because of thinking I MUST be pregnant. Why else would I feel such a strong movement?! Tonight it happened again, and I thought I need to figure out what this is! It has been going on long enough! This forum has had the most people posting on it. I can actually see my stomach move sometimes. Sooo...to summarize what others are saying...it could be worms or parasites, a wheat intolerance, IBS, normal intestinal contractions, gas, or....anyone have any other ideas to add? I think I may go the way of a naturopath. I mentioned it to my doctor last year at my check up and she said it was just normal movement of the intestines. Let me tell you this is not normal! There is no pain with the movement, but for a while I think my husband thought I was crazy until I finally got him to see/feel the movement. I am tired of going through the thoughts of...am I pregnant or aren't I? I would love to hear if there were other answers. If I find out anything I'll be back.

I've been experiencing the same movement, off and on. At first it started out as fluttering, but only on one side and one spot. Then it turned to actual movement and rolling. I'm 49 and had tubes tied over 20 years ago. OBGYN says I'm not pregnant that it must be my bowels moving. Have taken home preg. test all were negative. Lower stomach is getting bigger and bigger each month. According to my periods I would be 6mths. preg. Haven't had a period since. Had abdominal ultra sound and pelvic nothing showed up but small fibroids in uterus. My family doc wants to send me to get colonoscopy, I don't think I should probably won't find anything. Family doc joked and said it is probably an alien growing inside me. When she pushed on my lower stomach it was very uncomfortable. She said it was too high to be a baby. But she felt something that is why I went for ultrasound. I too have a thick vaginal discharge that started about 2 wks. ago. Also have gained about 1lb. a month since Jan. I watch what I eat, exercise on a stationary bike. But I have no pain just a baby belly. Have to wear elastic waist clothes. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all. I have had this same thing for the past three months. I have endometriosis for the past 15 years and thought maybe that had something to do with it. I haven't really said anything to anyone about it because it sounds so weird. Today it was really bad so I googled it and I kept getting pages about characinoid tumor. My Dad had a characinoid tumor so I called him and he said my symptoms are exactly what his symptoms where. Slight pain in lower stomach. Almost under the ribcage. The feeling that something alive inside of you moving around. I only feel this when I am lying down and it is on the left side. It is the craziest feeling. I have 2 kids and it literally feels like a baby is moving around. Diarrhea and nauseousness. So, I am going to my doctor tomorrow because I am terrified. I will post what I find out tomorrow. Anyone else have any ideas? I also read that cervical cancer can cause a crawling feeling...

I'm having the same thing. my stomach is flat as a board and if I was pregnant I'd have to be 6months - so it's not that. some bloating and sleep issues. But the wierd thing is that it moves! One night it's on the lower right then on the center. Small to medium thumps not regular enough to be a blood vessel. SOmetimes rolling around, all movement is in my very lower pelvic area. Creepy is all I can say, I understand why everyone is freaking out, wish there were answers here. I've never been pregnant but it does feel like a baby or something moving around in there. I am female and have had cystic ovaries --- does anyone know if this is a verified link?

Worms like pin worms are so small you wouldn't feel anything. Tape worms and other worms are larger but people can not feel them moving inside of them. It isn't common for people to get worms who are civilized.... If you are wondering what I mean by that. I mean you have shoes to wear, you don't run around in animal feces, you don't let your animals lick you who lick their bottoms and could possibly have worms. Not that it isn't necessarily uncivilized for these things to happen but medically speaking people who aren't in financially unfortunate situations are very unlikely to get worms. Unless you are pregnant the movement in your lower abdomen is just gas. Even if you don't feel gassy at the moment your body is working and moving your waste and gas around. Remember it takes several days for something you just ate to move completely through your body. Even if you don't think it is... Your body is consistant with how it processes your food. So it is common in men and women to be gassy. Even in pregnant women, they may think that they feel the baby move but it really was just gas. Trust me, when you feel that gas and then you feel your baby move you will be able to tell the difference! Sometimes women who have had previous children may think that they feel a baby moving inside of them but lets face it women are way more gassy when they are pregnant! Also, when a woman hasn't been pregnant for a while they tend to forget about the sensations that they felt while pregnant which could cause the confusion between baby movement and gas! Unless your doctor is concerned about worms, then you have nothing to worry about! Hey, if you want you could always get a second opinion!

I'm having the feeling of a baby moving mixed with a tingly effect and it is driving me nuts. The first night it happened, 2 weeks ago, I'd had a big meal and "blew" it off as gas. ;) The next day it continued and has only intensified since then. I'm in my mid 30s and have 2 children. My youngest is 5 and I am not pregnant. Mine is ONLY on the right side... just under my ribcage in the front... to all the way thru to the top of my ribcage in the back. I'm imagining a huge tapeworm in there. Parasites are more common in people who eat organic foods and I eat a LOT of organic foods. My sister, who lives 20 hours away from me, had a tapeworm a few years ago. She never felt any movement. Mine seems worse when I am hungry. I have no health insurance, therefore cannot afford to go to the doctor period, let alone have them run several tests on me to figure this out. I need answers!!!

I have a lot of the same symptoms that everybody has been describing here. The first time was at 5:45am on a weekday morning. I had just woken up and made a bottle for my 10-month old and was feeding her while sitting Indian-style on my bed. All of a sudden, I had a feeling of movement (creepy, like something was actually crawling) down in my lower abdomen - almost like it was near or in my bladder because I had a little bit of a sensation to pee. There was no pain, but it was definitely uncomfortable and I immediately felt like I was going to pass out. I got very light-headed and the backs of my arms and my back became very cold. I was holding my 10 month-old baby at the time in my lap, so I put her on the floor and yelled for my husband to come upstairs. I then went to sit on the toilet because I feared that I may be bleeding or something. There was no blood, but my breathing started to become heavy and slow. This lasted for about 2.5 minutes and then it was over. It scared the c**p out of me! Later that morning, I called my doctor and described what had happened. She said it sounded like I had a panic attack, which I had never had before. I was so baffled by the thought of having a panic attack that I didn't focus much on the movement that I had felt right before it happened, so I didn't immediately investigate that part. Eventually, I had the movement feeling again and decided that I'd better go have it checked out. Ultimately, I had an endoscopy, colonoscopy, chest x-ray, blood work, a pap, urine test, stool sample test, etc. - all of which came up negative for aliens and parasites. It's not gas, chromes disease, cervical cancer, a characinoid tumor or a funal infection, so what could it be? Has anybody figured out what the heck this is?
