It was kind of soothing to find out i was not going crazy after having these same symptoms for months. I thought i may be pregnant again but it really didn't make any since because well lets just say i know my body...it felt so much like when i was pregnant with my son. I was sitting here reading so research for work this evening and i had the papers propped on my belly, will i was at the end of the page and all of a sudden it was like being 9 months pregnant again, a small lump pushed out of my belly above my belly button and it happened really quickly, this was the first time i can think of actually seeing it happen. I dont know what it is and i have not seen a doctor and from what all of you are experiencing with your doctors i am not to much in a hurry to go see one. If no one has given you a diagnosis i dont see them giving me one other than IBS and BTW i did look up the symptoms and i am not having any of those.

Best Regards
Danielle

its so strange that so many people are getting these movement and no one knows what it really is . i have been having them for the past 5 or so months was really worried i was pregnant (which i am not ) as it feels so much like a baby moving/rolling over and kicking and i get this sensation all over my lower belly and it moves around just like a baby does . i have had 2 kids so know the feeling well . barring the movement i am in perfect health in every other way except the odd colds . i keep putting offXITQ8Rseeing the doctor as i thought he would laugh at me but next time i go i will see what he reckons it could be .
there must be someone out there that knows what this feeling is

I have had this problem for years. All the doctors told me was that it could be IBS and lactose intolerance. It bothers me that nobody ever has an answer for this. Even as a child I had pains like this. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that puts my hands on my lower stomach and feels like an alien is going to pop out dancing - it really feels like kicking. I did read recently that this can be a sign of female problems like Ovarian cysts or cancer. I have had HPV so I'm hoping to go get a blood test for the Ovaries since Paps don't test for that. Honestly, when I eat very very clean my symptoms are decreased. If any of you out there find out something let us know!

I feel the very same "movement" in my lower-left side of my stomach. I made a doctor's appointment for this week, but after reading these blogs, I fear I will not find out anything at my appointment.

I don't want to scare anyone, but about a year ago I started to search the Internet for causes of stomach irritation...and I found a wealth of information on the mysterious world of human parasites. I was skeptical, because you never hear about parasites during your local visit to the doctor. However, after reading more I realized that we all have parasites living inside of us (think about it, we take our pets to the vet to get de-wormed, but we assume that we don't have any worms or parasites inside of us).

Anyway, I bought a colon cleansing product and for three months I expelled various parasites, including a two-foot (very skinny) "thing"...probably a tape-worm. I am no longer in denial about what we have inside of us...but after feeling this intense movement, I am fairly confident that what I (and many of you) are feeling is some type of parasite. You can get rid of parasites by using colon cleanses...My husband and I both used Colonix, by Dr. Natura and we got out a lot of very unusual "things." Unfortunately, most doctors are not trained in dealing with "human parasites" and tend to dismiss the idea of parasites. I will write more after my doctor's appointment and probably begin the colon cleanse again.

this is a coincidence. I have had the same feeling for two years, it started out less sporadic and now it feels like it is large and moving about. I am skinny and have no problem sleeping, but i have a feeling it is the weird movement of gas. Our bodies are strange, but im sure this is a common occurance if it's not just me having these feelings. I do major liver and stomach cleanses about once a year, so i do not believe it is a parasite. Like the docs said, it's probably just gas.

Last week (May 2, 2008) I had the same symptons %-) some of you described. I googled bubbling/movement in my stomach. I know I wasn't pregnant and I hate medication. It let me to this site and so I conducted my own research. I'm a health freak so I watch what I eat. Recently I had changed my diet and all of a sudden weird movements (like a baby kicking) gargling noises etc. After researching ibs, parasites etc. I decided to do a detox regimen. It is safe for hypoglycemics :-P (because I'm one and I consulted with my doctor) diabetics should check with their doctors as well as other special health conditions. The detox mixture is natural and safe ;-) Mix "Pure maple syrup"(has to say 100% maple syrup-its between 8-13 dollars in supermarkets) lemon juice or fresh lemons(helps loosen plaque in colon), a pinch of cayenne pepper (aids in speeding up metabolism and cleansing) and purified water. Mix it to your taste and try it for 3 days. I actually am still doing it because I feel great! after two days I didnt have the "symptons" anymore. Do keep in mind you will loose about 2 to 3 pounds on this detox o.O . Fresh fruits XD , vegetables and beans can be eaten if you get hungry, so try to stay away from breads, pastas etc. you can google detox drink and you should be able to find the recipe. It worked for me in two days but depending on the individual you can try longer. I'm in great health so maybe that's why it worked quicker. Best of luck!!!! May God Bless :-D (Note: please talk to your physician first)

Hi, I have just recently been to the doctor regarding similar symptoms of movement in my stomach/abdomen and he gave me an examination and ruled out pregnancy and gas. He just told me to stop eating red meat for a couple of weeks. The symptoms stopped. I then started eating red meat again (not a lot as I am not keen on red meat) and the symptoms have come back. Looks like I will not be eating red meat again!!

OMG! I have the exact same symptoms. I've been freaking out for like, the past two weeks. I have a two year old little boy, and had an IUD put in shortly after giving birth. It stopped my cycle, so I don't know when I last had a period, although I know in my heart that I'm not pregnant. So why, all of the sudden, does it feel like I'm 5 or 6 months pregnant with a baby positioned right below my bellybutton? That is the only place I have it, and it is only when I sit down. WHAT IS GOING ON? Please tell me I'm not crazy.

Its called abdominal gas and food passing through your GI tract... also if it was a 'massive' parasite, you would be losing weight rapidly.

I'm having this problem too. I'm only 15, and hopefully not pregnant. i've been having regular periods. It's very low down, and only lasts for a second or two. i can feel it through my skin too when i put my hand on my tummy, and a few of my friends can feel it when they put their hands there. i'm scared to tell my mum in case she accuses me of being pregnant. it's starting to scare me a lot. when it happens frequently i can feel one every minute or so, sometimes even every 10 seconds for about a minute. it's so strong that when it happens suddenly i jump with the shock. it was really bad today. really strong and frequent, and it's been that way since this morning so i thought i'd do some research, but i found nothing. it doesn't feel at all like wind or anything. it's right in the middle, about three inches below my navel. can anyone help? i dunno wat to do.
