Something on the denture must be rubbing on your gums unless they are loose and moving too much which is causing a sore from rubbing. Basically the same thing. It's a common problem and easy to fix. You can go back to the dentist and have it done or if you feel comfortable using a Dremel tool you can grind away the spot that is hitting yourself.

I usually do it myself rather than pay a dentist to do it. The dentist will fix a spot and it will rub in another spot in a few weeks so you have to keep going back until it's done. That is aggravating going back many times and they usually charge you each time.
