My lower stomach area has swelled up like a balloon.
I have no idea why. I believe that its the bladder area.
There's no pain or irritation during urination. I dont believe it to be a bladder infection. I have experienced gas pain and pressure in my upper stomach through out the day, but now its completly in me lower stomach area.
Its extremely swollen. I dont now why. Theres pressure but no pain.
I dont know what to do, my doctor wont be able to see till monday. Is it wise to try my pharmacy and see if i can find over the counter medicine to bring down the swelling? or should i wait till i see my doctor?
Please if any one can explain this or has experienced something similar.
Please help.
Thanks

I also am suffering from extreme bloating in the lower abdomen. It started a month ago, and it was at the top of my abdomen also. It has moved down into my lower only. I have also been experiencing cramping, leg pain, some back pain and indegestion. I tested negative for bladder infection. My Dr. ran a CA 125 test for ovarian cancer and that was negative. (Thank heavens). I am scheduled to have an ob/gyn ultrasound soon. I feel pregnant and gross. Let me know how things go with the Dr. Good luck!

I think you should get tested for celiac disease. I had that problem, and it turns out I am allergic to gluten
