Hi, I am 26 years old and had my some 2 years ago by a c section. After about six months I noticed a lump under my scar on the right side. It is very painful and doctor told me its scar tissue and sent me home. It would usually only hurt during the time of the month. But here lately it has been hurting non stop.
Hi Sophie I have the same thing it's called endometriosis, I would go and see your doctor. I had my lump removed, just like having another c section, where they removed the scar tissue. I would go back to your doctor and ask them to investigate edometriosis.

I had two C-sections, the last one was over 5.5 years ago. Followed by a hysterectomy in 2013 due to endometriosis. I have always had a little C-section scar tenderness, but in the last year it has been unbearable. It started with a lump on the right side of my scar about an inch long which would be unbearable with the intermittent burning pain so many others have felt. Difficult to walk, move, ect. I was afraid I had a hernia or something so I went to a general surgeon. He said he suspected it is endometriosis in my scar and told me that it would require surgery. I decided if I am going to have my abdomen cut open I'm going to get the most out of it, so I went to a plastic surgeon, who agreed he could remove the endometriosis, at the same time as doing a tummy tuck. I scheduled my surgery for December because I wanted some time to lose a little weight and be in the best shape possible before my surgery, but now I am in so much pain I don't know if I can hold out that long!
okay, had a hysterectomy(after already having two c-sections)14 years ago. Had ugly bump at one end of scar on stomach, which after around a year, a staple came out of it. Last night I noticed bump was itching, starting noticing horrible smell and felt liquid. Ran into bathroom, squeezed bump and got out some white thick gunk. Is this normal?
hello Ladies, I'm 34 years old and i have four c-section, well I'm not going to say more about it, we all have the same thing, a lump on your right or left side. my last c-section it was 2011 my baby just turn five today, and the lump it still growing. i visit the hospital so many times, the only thing they gave me its antibiotic, doesn't help. so I went to OB-GYN Dr. and she said it was a scar tissue, so i asked her if theirs any cure for this, and she said know. But the lump is getting bigger and bigger, everytime i had my period its really hurt, my right side, and my lower back, so if any Dr. tells you to have a surgery please DON'T..warm water helps, soft massage, but im still search for an answer..ill let you ladies know if i found one..God bless you all.
I'm having these pains and is been 3 years.

Hi I too have a lump which is very painful and feels like it's burning. Had my c-section 6 years ago. Been to the doctor and he said the lump is from poor healing from my c-section. He has referred me to a plastic surgeon to see about getting it removed but said it is 50-50 that it will go away and not come back. Will find out next month what they have to say but I do say keep going to the doctors to get it sorted .
I have a similar situation, I have had two children both by c section and at the right side of the scar there is a bump, it feels like scar tissue and it makes my skin have like a dimple where the bump is. Most of the time it doesn't bother me but normally right after the last day of my period it will be very tender and painful if touched. Then a couple days later it will itch like it is healing, almost like being on my period has made something in the scar rip. It also has made it hard to exercise. If I have sex it doesn't bother me during but after it will be tender on the scar. I am so glad to know I am not the only one who has this problem.
Hi I have the same my c section was 12yrs ago, after years of trying to have a baby I finally found out what this lump is all about. Scar tissue! It's endometriosis it's knotting itself and the pulling feeling is the tubes being tied with adhesions.
Hi I'm 43 had 2 c sections I have also had a hysterectomy I have just noticed I have a lump on the left side just under my scar its painful to touch should I see a doctor or is it just scar tissue ?

I had my c sections 18 yes ago
Thanks for the information.
Did anyone solve this problem. Am experiencing the same thing.
I have exactly the same thing going on, I'm 44, have had 2 cesereans the last one being 5yrs ago, I also have a painful lump under my scar that gets a burning sensation after my period, sex and ovulation! I have been to the doctor who did an ultrasound and stated that it was fatty tissue scarring and that I would have to pay to get it removed and hence it could grow back. After my ceserean I went into intensive care due to loss of blood, they placed a drain in my scar and when the nurse removed it (quite aggressively) I felt an excruciating pain and the lump has formed in this exact spot, I personally feel this is what caused it. My question is what type of doctor should I see for a second opinion if I go to the hospital, the ongoing pain is driving me crazy and I'm in two minds as too put up with it or to take the risk of removing it and have it come back again. Have you had any more success to helping you since you last posted this?
