I have a few rabbits who are all together and although the cage is big and the generally do live in harmony, fights do break out at times, as you can probably imagine. Now, one of my rabbits has a lump on its side that looks infected. Any tips on what to do?
My cat has a very similar thing once - a warmish lump that wouldn't go away and seemed to hurt him a lot, which happened after a fight with the neighbouring cats. Well, I took her to the vet who told us it was a cyst and it needed to be drained. The vet inserted a syringe, and the cyst came exploding apart! It smelt horrible too! After that, and along with an antibiotic cream, everything was fine.
