I have a lot of piercings and tattoos and last week I decided to get a tragus piercing on a whim. For the first few days it was really fine and nice looking, and now a pus filled lump has appeared, which is terribly reed and painful when I move it. Should I take the piercing out, or can it be saved?

You might have to, but if you continue to keep it clean and move it about at least twice a day, you might be all right. You know, a lot of piercing get inflamed just after you have had them done and most of them heal just fine after a while. Good luck and... put some alcohol on it too!

DO NOT PUT ALCOHOL ON A PIERCING, IT WILL ONLY HINDER THE HEALING PROCESS.

It sounds like your piercing is infected. Consult your piercer or doctor. Do not remove it, as the infection could spread to the rest of your body.
