I am 23 and have a four year old son. Every since i have had my child things have not been the same in my vaginal area. It takes douching after every time i have sex to make sure i will not receive a yeast infection and my vagina will not get the same way it was before without using some kind of assistance from different store bought products. Sometimes i have chalky white discharge with the tight clothing i were. My GYN gave me an antibacterial medication. But I feel that is too many things being inserted inside. Is there any way i can avoid these things?
Douching is really not necessary and continual use may be the cause of your infection. Our bodies has it's own built in cleaning service. Douching upsets the bodies flora and throws of the PH levels, therefore causing an infection. Do you use condoms? This could be the culprit. Many women are allergic to the latex in them, causing an infection.
Stop the douching and use the medication that your doctor gave you and you just might see a change.
