4 months clean and I still can’t sleep more than 5 hours straight but this may have something to do with the extremely bad break up I went through that made me quit. This is affecting my hormone levels and I have little to no sex drive. Thinking about taking testosterone for the next few months but I’m worried when I come off I will crash and be even more depressed and even suicidal like I was a month or so ago.

I wander if weed is the cause of what seems to be normal human emotion?? I notice that some people are saying they still get the odd bought of anxiety/depression however i wander if it is because of weed? I would love an anxiety/depression fee life, however those emotions are just as important as positive emotions sometimes. I find it odd to think that giving pot up can erradicate all negitive emotion. I quit pot 3 weeks ago after smoking for 20 years heavy, i feel bettet, however as a therapist i understand that life full stop can be painful. For me listening to what my depression and anxiety are really saying can help, like when i have depression i thank my brain for alerting me that something may need changing ect. I understand some maybe suffering more sever symptoms, but would be interested to no why being constantly high was better than being strait headed? Why wasnt not being high good enough? For some people who are balanced smoking can inbalance, so what is it that pot gives to people that dont want to feel normal? What is it covering up?

Just entering my fourth week. concentration not there, focus gone, notice time more and it drags. Smoked 40 years an ounce a week, used it fir cancer treatment. Going nuts. started smoking cigarettes up to 4 a day. No matter what I do I cant stay focused . Get angry, frustrated, appetite sucks, sleep whats that . all over the map. Doing everything imaginable to quit yet I struggle so much I wonder if its worth quitting. I know it is but I just can
t see the light at the end of this tunnel.

I think it takes about 3 months for marijhuana to leave your body and then about 2 years for your brain to rewire itself. The thing is there is no magical moment when you think 'Yes, I've done it'. You will do it if that's what you've decided to do but you need something to fall back instead of marijhuana. In my experience the best thing to fall back on is having a wife/girlfriend.

Quit a week ago, smoked 2 grams a day for 18 years. The crazy dreams, sweats, lack of motivation, mood swings, I've got it all. I have experience with extended fasting and have willingly gone 21 days without food before, so that's where what I'm going to do starting now. After reading the posts here it seems like the best way to speed this up and get rid of my holiday weight at the same time. Caffeine is next and will be my last addiction to kick. I've quit alcohol, nicotine and a whole lot of other bad habits /addictions so i know I'll kick this one too. I'm just looking forward to feeling awake, motivated and saving tons of money.
