Just to let you know People who have colostomies often do eat and drink so that has nothing to do with anorexia and nausea which could cause someone not to be ABLE to eat for prolonged periods of time.

I'm having the same problems too celiac test negative, always dehydrated even though I drink plenty and colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy all clear I've had a million tests and no answers so fed up

"Just IBS" lol let me assure you that to many people it is not "just IBS" it can be super problematic. Causes a lot of pain and cramping and stool changes. And the most widely used diet to treat IBS is the low fodmap diet , which, you guessed it, eliminates most sources of gluten. I believe on the low fodmap diet that real, naturally leavened sour dough bread is ok to have though for most , whereas a celiac or gluten intolerant person would have a hard time with it

Microanemia maube an issue ? I am not a doctor and if I have only my own experience to go on. I have Microanemia which basic is saying the blood feels are abnormally small and so cannot store iron as proficient as normal sized cells. Iron supplements are part of the answer with this issue. However fowel swelling stools especially of metal or iron maybe a signal of underlying bleeding or some other more serious issue. Please see your own doctor as soon as possible.
